Become A Sponsor

The DrupalCampCT website has been designed to allow organizations to initiate the progress of becoming a sponsor of DrupalCampCT simply by creating a sponsor page on our website as follows:

  • Register an account (or choose an account you have already created) on our website at 2014.drupalcampct.org which you will use to enter a description of your organization's services and products and upload your organization's logo.
  • Once you have registered your account on our website, create a sponsor page by clicking on the Become a Sponsor link in the right sidebar. (Note, this link will not be displayed until you have registered and signed into the website.)
  • On the Create Sponsor page:
    • In the Sponsor Name field, enter the name of your organization.
    • Using the Logo field, upload your organization's logo in png, gif or jpg format to be displayed on our website and at DrupalCampCT.. To look best with the theme of our website, you will want to upload an image in png or gif format with a transparent background. Your image should have a large enough resolution (width and height in pixels) so that it will look sharp when printed and displayed at DrupalCampCT on an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. We will print your logo appropriate to its dimensions in either portrait or landscape mode. The logo that is actually displayed on our website will be a re-sized version of the image that you originally upload (something like, 175 pixels wide for Platinum logos, 150 pixels wide for Gold logos, 125 pixels wide for Silver logos depending upon the final design of the website).
    • In the Description field, enter a 100 word (or less) description of your organization and/or the services and products it provides to be displayed on our website. Our website does not enforce the 100 word limit nor will we if you go over by a few words. However, please be respectful of our request that you keep your description to this length.
    • In the Website field, specify the URL of your organization's website (e.g. www.joesgrocery.com) to be displayed on our website.
    • Using the Attendees field, you can create links to the DrupalCampCT personal pages of members of your organization who have registered for DrupalCampCT. These links will appear on the webpage for your organization on our website, allowing DrupalCampCT participants to locate DrupalCampCT attendees from your organization.
    • Provide the name, email address and phone number for the person who will serve as a contact between your organization and DrupalCampCT in the appropriate Contact Name, Contact Email Address and Contact Phone Number fields. This contact information will not be displayed publicly on our website. It will be used for administrative purposes only.
    • Use the Financial Contribution field to enter an amount you would like to contribute to DrupalCampCT. Contribute $300 (or more) for platinum level sponsorship, $200 (and up to $299) for gold level sponsorship, or $100 (and up to $199) for silver level sponsorship. The value of your financial contribution will not be displayed publicly on our website. Instead it will be used to place you in the appropriate sponsorship level which will be displayed publicly on our website.
    • Use the Non-Financial Contribution field to specify a non-monetary contribution you would like to make to DrupalCampCT (e.g. books, training discounts). Your non-financial contribution will not be displayed publicly on our website. Instead it will be used to place you in the appropriate sponsorship level which will be displayed publicly on our website. We will also acknowledge your non-financial contribution during the DrupalCampCT opening presentation and/or before the DrupalCampCT keynote presentation.
    • Use the Non-Financial Contribution Value field to specify the monetary value of the non-monetary contribution you would like to make to DrupalCampCT. That is, what is the monetary worth of the contribution you specified in the Non-Financial Contribution field (e.g. $100 of books, $200 of training discounts)? Your non-financial contribution value will not be displayed publicly on our website. Instead it will be used to place you in the appropriate sponsorship level which will be displayed publicly on our website.
    • Fill in the Materials to Ship field to let us know of any materials (e.g. t-shirts, books) you will be shipping to us through the mail so we can look out for their arrival. Additional information on shipping materials to DrupalCampCT is provided here. The information in this field will not be displayed publicly on our website.
    • The Sponsorship Level field will be set by DrupalCampCT organizers to place you at the appropriate sponsorship level, and will thus influence how your organization is displayed as a sponsor on the DrupalCampCT website. You are able to view but not able to set this field.
    • The Payment Status field will be set by DrupalCampCT organizers. You are able to view but not able to set this field. You may use this field to verify the Drupal Association's receipt and processing of your contribution. Note, it may take a while for the Drupal Association to receive and process your donation and to then communicate that information to us. The information in this field will not be displayed publicly on our website.>
    • The Shipping Status field will be set by DrupalCampCT organizers. You are able to view but not able to set this field. You may use this field to verify DrupalCampCT's receipt of materials you have shipped to us. The information in this field will not be displayed publicly on our website..
    • The Communication field is available for communication between the DrupalCampCT organizers and DrupalCampCT sponsors. It can be updated by both organizers and sponsors to keep notes on the status of sponsorship processing.
  • By completing the requested information and saving the sponsor page, the DrupalCampCT organizers will be notified of your intention to become a sponsor of DrupalCampCT.
  • Shortly thereafter, we will contact you to verify your identity and intention and to let you know how to get your contributions to us. We will then publish the information you have supplied on our website.
